Frequently Asked Questions

In drive-in racking the forklift enters the lane. With shuttle racking the forklift places the pallet at the lane entry and a radio-controlled shuttle carries it in — faster, safer and with far less rack damage.
Yes. With loading from one face and retrieval from the other the system runs FIFO; loading and retrieving from the same face gives LIFO.
It works best when each lane holds a single SKU or batch — typically high-volume, lower-variety inventory such as finished goods, beverages or frozen products.
