Clad-Rack Warehouses

  • Principle: Racking is the building structure
  • Flooring cost: Up to 10% reduction
  • Rack type: Any static conventional storage system
  • Best for: High-bay, greenfield and temporary warehouses

Clad-rack warehouses are self-supporting structures that make full use of the available ground space and height. The racking is the structure that holds the walls and roof in place — unlike a conventional PEB, which needs separate pillars to carry the building.

Key Features

  • Up to 10% reduction in warehouse flooring costs through structural integration with the racking
  • Optimised space usage — storage and building framework combined in one unified system
  • Can be dismantled and re-assembled, which suits temporary or shifting warehouse set-ups
  • Designed to support mechanical, electrical and plumbing fittings without major modifications
  • Fewer vendors to manage — no separate civil, structural and storage contractors
  • Components are reusable and configurable, giving strong cost advantages on expansion or relocation
  • A good fit for seasonal overflow and transitional logistics hubs

How we deliver

One partner from first site visit to long-term support.

1

Site survey & requirement study

We visit your site, measure the space and understand loads, SKUs, headcount and workflows.

2

Layout design & solution selection

Layouts, product selection and a clear BOQ — developed with Godrej’s design teams.

3

Installation & project coordination

One team coordinates supply, delivery and installation through to handover.

4

After-sales & lifecycle support

Audits, reconfiguration, repairs and warranty coordination for as long as you run the system.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is a warehouse in which the racking is the load-bearing structure: the wall cladding and roof are fixed to the racks, so no separate building frame is needed.
A PEB needs an isolated pillar structure to carry the building. A clad-rack warehouse uses the racking to distribute the superstructure load evenly, uses the full height for storage and can reduce flooring costs by up to 10%.
Yes. It can be dismantled and re-assembled, and its components are reusable and configurable — useful for temporary, seasonal or shifting operations.
Clad-rack warehouses can be built with any type of static conventional storage system.
Yes. Aspire Solution carries out a site survey and requirement study first — floor dimensions, clear height, pallet or load data, handling equipment and throughput — and the layout and BOQ are then developed with Godrej’s design team.
It depends on the system type, tonnage and site readiness. Share your layout or requirement and we will come back with a proposal and a realistic project schedule from Godrej.
